A Song About OUR LOVE
Our Story
We wrote this song to connect many of the most meaningful moments in our relationship.
The First Date
"Eight hours spun cold evening air,
A single date beyond compare…
He squeezed into her jacket to calm the chill,
But in their hearts, the warmth lingered still."
What started as a simple, shy coffee date unexpectedly turned into an eight-hour marathon of conversation. Neither of us was ready for the date to end, so the date was an adventure through the city of Long Beach. As the evening chill set in, Cece shared her jacket with Logan to stay warm. We didn't know it then, but our instant alchemy that afternoon sparked the rest of our lives together.
Meeting the Family
"They sat with Grandpa Ray and let the hours pass.
He drew "Loves Mary Lou" like a work of art,
The reigning monarch of his faithful heart."
Blending two lives together includes family too. Cece braved the admittedly mild North Carolina winter during her first trip to meet the Williams family. Logan cherished hours joking with Grandpa Ray. He also enjoyed watching baseball with Grandpa. Seeing him draw "Ray Loves Mary Lou"—a testament to his own lifelong love—was a profound moment for Logan. It highlighted the kind of enduring, beautiful love we want in our marriage.
Our Travels
"Through Mexico City, the autumn spun…
And to Taipei streets, her mother once knew…
Beneath the Fuji cherry blossom stream,

Our love story has taken us all over the globe, and traveling together has been a great joy. From the brilliant autumn colors in Mexico City to walking the same neighborhood in Taipei that Cece's mother grew up in, to catching the magical cherry blossoms in Japan—every stamp in our passports represents a new beautiful memory we've built hand-in-hand.
The Proposal
"Walking through the park of the first kiss…
Against an Angeles skyline's vibrant hue…
She stood surprised, the sunset bleeding red,
As he knelt down and softly said,
'Will you be my… everything?'"
Logan brought it all full circle by going back to the very park where we shared our first kiss. Right as the Los Angeles sky painted a vibrant sunset, an ordinary walk turned into the surprise of a lifetime. Kneeling under the downtown skyline, one question changed our whole world.
The Wedding
"They step inside The Sanctuary,
Where hymns arise and souls will marry…
Yeah, it's a beautiful life that they are building,
Hand in hand, just Working toward Williams."
All of these moments have led us here: to The Sanctuary, surrounded by the family and friends we love most. We cannot wait to see each other at the end of the aisle and officially step into this next chapter.
